Brad Pitt: A film producer and actor, William Bradley Pitt is an American. Among his accolades are two Academy Awards, a British Academy Film Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award.
As a cowboy hitchhiker in Ridley Scott’s road movie Thelma & Louise (1991), Pitt first gained attention. His first major roles in big-budget productions were in A River Runs Through It (1992) and Legends of the Fall (1994), as well as Interview with the Vampire (1994). Among his critically acclaimed performances were those in David Fincher’s crime thriller Seven (1995) and 12 Monkeys (1995). In addition to his Golden Globe nomination, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the latter.
